Story Line
Poonam, a traditionally raised young woman, is the husband prem, the groom chosen by her uncle. Poonam and Prem’s faith and love, however, must be tested when an accident occurs and Ponam may have life-long scars.
After the death of his wife, Harishandra, a wealthy Delhi-based businessman, took it upon himself to care for two sons, Sunil and Prem. When they grew up, Sunil married Bhavna, letting Prem finish his studies, even allowing him to study overseas. Soon, Bhavna and Sunil gave birth to a boy, Rahul. When Bahgat told him that he had found a suitable partner for Prim in Bunam, Krishnakant’s niece, a fruit merchant from Madhapur, Uttar Pradesh.
The family went there, met Krishnakant, his wife, Rama, and daughter, Rajni, and instantly approved of Poonam.
