    Definition

    Hormones are a chemical produced in the endocrine glands. In turn, control most major physical functions such as hunger for complex systems such as reproduction, emotions, and mood.

    Therefore, Understanding the Body’s essential hormones and the nature of their work will help you stay healthy, which you’ll find in the following lines of this article.

    What are Hormones?

    The best way to answer this question is to take a look at some of the major glands that work together to produce and manage the Body’s main hormones:

    Hypothalamus glands are responsible for body temperature, hunger, moods, thirst, sleep, and sex.

    Hypoparathyroidism: This gland controls the amount of calcium in the body.

    Thymus: These play a role in enhancing immune system function.

    Pancreas: This gland produces insulin that helps control blood sugar levels.

    Thyroid: contains hormones associated with calorie burning and heart rate.

    The adrenal gland controls the hormones responsible for sexual ability and cortisol, the stress hormone.

    The pituitary gland is part of the endocrine system and controls other hormonal glands that stimulate growth.

    Coniferous: also called the thalamus, this gland produces serotonin derivatives of melatonin that control sleep.

    Ovaries: female sex hormones such as estrogen, testosterone, progesterone are secreted.
    testicles: the hormone androgen produces testosterone and sperm.

    Types of Hormones

    the Body contains many different hormones, but some species have a greater role in the Body’s health and well-being, as follows:

    Women’s Hormones – Estrogen (or estradiol): Responsible for puberty, Body and uterus preparation for pregnancy, menstrual regulation.

    Progesterone: the primary sex hormone is not considered estrogen, but it helps regulate the menstrual cycle and plays a role in pregnancy.

    Stress Hormone – cortisol helps the body respond to stress and fatigue.

    Melatonin – levels of this hormone change throughout the day and increase after dark to stimulate the body to respond to sleep.

    Men’s Hormones – testosterone, the primary sex hormone in men, responsible for puberty, increased bone density, stimulating facial hair growth, muscle mass growth. And also, strength.

    Key Hormone Functions

    Hormones travel through the bloodstream to tissues, delivering different messages that tell members what to do and when to do so, so they are responsible for the following vital processes:

    metabolic rate and appetite.

    Heart rate.

    Sleep.

    Sexual function.

    Mood and stress levels.

    Body temperature.

    Overall Growth

    Green vegetables such as broccoli are known for their ability to regulate sex hormones in the body, especially estrogen, which is the basis for a woman’s reproductive health. And also, pregnancy.

    When estrogen levels rise in the body, the chances of gaining weight, premenstrual syndrome. And also,  osteoporosis increases.

    The fibers in broccoli also help support estrogen flowing through the blood. And also, it’s one of the foods that help balance hormones.

    Avocado

    Another option among foods that help balance hormones is fruits that contain healthy fats that promote nutrient absorption.

    Moreover, not only that, but avocados contain a large percentage of potassium, vitamin e, folic acid, fiber, magnesium, as well as vitamin b.

    All previous nutrients contribute to hormonal balance.

    Avocado fruit can be eaten on its own or added to the salad.

    Pomegranate

    Pomegranates are the perfect solution to many health problems that can affect the Body and regulate hormone production.

    Firstly, It applies to all parts of the fruit, whether flowers, seeds, juice, and even crusts.

    Secondly, it contains a rare fatty acid that has anti-inflammatory properties. And also, has a remarkable ability to burn fat.

    Lastly, Pomegranate intake contributes to fertility in women, improving progesterone secretion, reducing menstrual symptoms, helping to regulate them. And also, reducing menopause changes.

    Carrots

    Carrots are recommended to help absorb high levels of estrogen, which can lead to many health problems.

    High estrogen can lead to increased acne, poor fertility. And also, mood swings, so add carrots to a menu that helps balance your hormones.

    Flaxseed

    Flaxseed is an important source of phytoestrogens, which give the same effect as estrogen in the body.

    This plant hormone reduces the symptoms of menopause in women. And also,  improves the balance of hormones in the body.

    Flaxseeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, fiber. And also,  antioxidants and can be added to oatmeal or juice.
